What's New!

We have just taken on the building next door! Thats right we have doubled in size and have a great member of our staff back with us after a two year break. Mark Gawley worked with us previously for 9 years until venturing south for awhile. But Cairns has got the better of him and he is back with his beautiful family and re-joined our team again! Welcome back Mark!!!

We are about to start working on our new toy...A Holden VT Commodore. The boys plan to bomb it to the eyeballs and take it drifting, drag racing and to burn out competitions.

Leigh is travelling to Orlando Florida in December 2009 for the Performance and Racing Industry Expo to keep up with the latest movements in the high performance world and to source to parts for the SVS Toy.....We will keep you updated!

Out latest project is our very own GTS Coupe. The car is an immaculate low KLM example of the General's Flagship.

We have pondered for quite some time now as to what type of modification we would carry out on a classy car. Let's face it! It was fairly tough car to drive as it was 370RWHP. It's only enhancements to achieve that power level was a Di Filippo twin 2 1/2" exhaust and 1 3/4" headers, a growler intake and SVS Edit Tune.

We wanted to carry out mods as equally impressive as the car, something special. We received news in August from A.P.S that we had been had elevated in status as an APS dealer to allow us to install and tune the APS Stealth Twin Turbo Systems to the LS1 and LS2 Holden Range. With that news, we knew now what enhancement would be fitting for the GTS.

We immediately ordered the package from the Australian Dealer, Spiro at Autotech Engineering in Sydney. The system is now installed and I must say it was a pleasure to fit. That's the thing with APS parts! They fit like genuine parts!

We have also built a twin 3" mandrel Stainless Steel exhaust system using parts purchased from Darren at Di Filippo Exhausts. We are now waiting for the Dyno to have a free couple hours so we can tune her up! WE are expecting around 550RWHP with 9-10 PSI boost. I will keep you posted on her progress!

We decided to run the car with 7psi for a while to get a feel for things and make sure the engine was happy. It made an impressive 485 RWHP at 7.1psi.

We have since tuned the car for a higher power level and without leaning on it, we achieved 626RWHP at 9.8psi!

If you want to check out the beast - it will be on display this weekend Sunday 22nd June 2008 at the ALL HOLDEN DAY - Cairns Showgrounds.
